Mike and I met a few years ago and were BFFs before we started dating. I’m an avid lucid dreamer and we would often share our dreams. I even had lucid dreams where I would summon him into my dream. It would usually work but he would arrive as something like a short lumberjack or a Lego giant. We also have off beat senses of humor and always make each other laugh. Best of all we treat each other with love and kindness, even during disagreements.

He lives in Kentucky near the border by Cincinnati. We often drive back and forth to see each other. We’ve discovered a few cute places between us. Findlay is a cute college town with one of the best delis ever. Because of this we are able to discover places that we probably never would have noticed before. At the Cabela’s south of us there is a donut truck parked outside called Petey’s that have hands down the best donuts to have ever blessed my mouth. They make them in front of you and you can see the cider freshly swirled inside of them.

I often get asked who is moving to who? And neither of us are moving because we both have small children. We just keep doing the commute and continue on our adventures.
